Rotate single pages or the whole document, then save
Rotate PDF pages that came out sideways or upside down, one page at a time or the whole document at once. Each press turns a page a quarter turn clockwise, its thumbnail shows the result right away, and Save and download writes the new orientation into a copy of your file. The file is processed on your device and not sent anywhere.
Rotating changes how each page is displayed, not what it contains: text, images and drawings are copied as they are, with no compression and no re-encoding. PDF readers then open the pages in their new orientation.
Rotation shares its screen with Organize, so you can also drag pages into a new order or delete some before saving. The copy downloads with _rotated added to its name, such as scan_rotated.pdf, and your original stays as it was.
How to rotate pages in a PDF

Open your PDF Drop it where the page says Drop your PDF here, or click to select it. The thumbnails then appear one after another: wait for the last one before you turn, delete or save pages.

Turn single pages Point at a thumbnail with the mouse and press its rotate button. Each press adds a quarter turn clockwise.

Turn every page Press Rotate all in the toolbar. It adds a quarter turn to each page, on top of any turn you already gave it.

Check the result Look over the thumbnails. Reset changes brings back the pages as they were when you opened the file.

Save Press Save and download. The rotated copy downloads, and the "File ready" panel offers to pass it on to Compress, Merge, Sign or Watermark.
How many presses for each angle
- One press, a quarter turn clockwise: for a page whose top points to the left.
- Two presses, a half turn: for a page that is upside down.
- Three presses, three quarters of a turn: the same as a quarter turn counterclockwise, for a page whose top points to the right.
- Four presses: the page is back where it started, which is also how you cancel a turn.
What changes in the saved file
Each page keeps its content and gets a new orientation, which is the way a PDF records rotation. Nothing is redrawn, so text stays selectable and a scan keeps its original resolution.
If a page was already rotated in your file, your turns are added to that rotation. The thumbnails show each page the way a reader displays it, so you can judge the turn from what you see.
The copy holds the pages shown in the grid, in the grid's order. If you also deleted or duplicated pages, the saved file includes those changes. It is a new file built from those pages, so the bookmarks of your original and its properties, such as the title, are left out. Nor are its layers: a hidden layer becomes visible, and a link to a named destination leads nowhere.
If a page does not turn
- The rotate button shows only while the pointer is over a thumbnail, so point at the page, then press the button. With the keyboard, Enter and Space on that button select the page instead of turning it: use the mouse, or Rotate all when every page needs the same turn.
- Clicking the picture of a page selects it, and a check mark appears; selection has no effect on rotation. Press None to clear it.
- Change file returns to the upload screen and drops your turns, so press Save and download first.

How do I rotate a page counterclockwise?
Press its rotate button three times. Three quarter turns clockwise leave the page where a single quarter turn counterclockwise would.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Every thumbnail has its own rotate button, so only the pages you turn change. Use Rotate all when every page needs the same turn.
Is the rotation saved in the file?
Yes. The new orientation is written into the downloaded copy, so the pages open rotated in any PDF reader.
Does rotating lower the quality?
No. Only the orientation of each page changes; text, images and drawings are copied as they are. One exception: a PDF protected by a password is not supported, even one that opens without asking for it, so remove the protection first with Unlock PDF if you know the password.
Can I choose another angle, such as 45 degrees?
No. Pages turn by quarter turns only, which is how PDF files store rotation.
What is the downloaded file called?
The original name with _rotated added, such as scan_rotated.pdf. Your original stays as it was.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the file, applies the turns and builds the new copy itself, so the size you can handle depends only on your device's memory.
